High contrast Far-Infrared and Mid-Infrared Polarizer P03

High contrast polarizer for the far-infrared and complete mid-infrared simultaneously. High-frequency limit is extended to typically 5000cm^-1 or 2µm. A polarization contrast of T_p/T_s = 10,000 : 1 is reached.

• Very high degree of polarization P = (T_p - T_s)/(T_p + T_s) > 99.99%

• Thin, compact, rotable

• Wide wavelength range > 250µm to 2µm (equivalent to 40 ..... 5000cm^-1)

• Complete and continuous mid-ir to far-ir-coverage

• No substrate - there is no beam deviation and no substrate dependent dispersion

• Ideal for 1.2 to 150THz spectroscopy

• Standard clear apertures: 13 and 25mm diameter, new: 18.4mm

• Application: THz-, fir-, mir-spectroscopy, polarimetry, ellipsometry

The polarizer is mounted in a 50 (33)mm dia. x 14mm thick metal ring. Four 2mm dia. screw holes on a 38 (24)mm dia. circle are provided for mounting.
New: the 18.4mm diameter CA is mounted in 25.4mm diameter ring with 2.5mm thickness
